The redesign of Kos Divine Hotel and Suites marks a pivotal transformation in one of Kos town’s most iconic landmarks, situated in front of the island’s marina. This 5-star hotel, spanning 4000 sq.m., operates year-round and is an esteemed Divine Hotels group member.
The renovation concept revolved around the hotel’s modernisation through subtle yet impactful interventions. The facades underwent a remarkable facelift, featuring a new grand entrance with a linear motif, replacement of balcony railings with glass panels, and removal of ornate architectural elements of the past.
Internally, public spaces were revitalised by removing outdated decorative elements and suspended ceilings, replacing them with innovative designs that prioritise illumination to delineate and orientate key areas. A new rooftop garden, adorned with a spacious linear table and outdoor lounges, serves as a captivating addition, offering panoramic vistas of the marina.
The outdoor spaces were enriched with shaded areas, greenery, and water features, providing serene retreats for guests. CRETA PG120F pergolas, adorned in white, with a total coverage exceeding 300 sq.m., create seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor realms, harmonising with the minimalist design ethos.
Lighting is a crucial design element, delineating the building’s perimeter externally and defining spatial orientations internally, enhancing the hotel’s distinctiveness and functionality. The renovation of Kos Divine Hotel and Suites represents a fusion of modernity and tranquillity, promising an unparalleled guest experience amidst Kos town’s historic marina.
